It is pretty clear to see that obtaining a flat sexy stomach is on the mindset of just about everyone with a brain. However only very few people will ever achieve the "six pack abs" status. So what makes these few people so different and luckier than the rest of the pack?
How many people do you know who work their butts off 5-6 days a week in the gym for 1-2 hours per session but still don’t get rid of their stomach fat. I am willing to bet that after years of doing so much of these workout sessions in the gym they are a bit frustrated with the fact that they still don’t have a flat stomach. Yet they are still convinced their solution for losing stomach fat is the best and most effective.
Since I became a personal trainer about 5 years ago I have seen many fads that promise the "best solution for a flat stomach" come and go. They come to make money and they go because their solution for stomach fat doesn’t work.
So I am going to give you 3 of my most important tips on how to get sexy abs.
1. Above all else you must provide your body with the proper nutrients so that your body will be able to feed your muscles and help you recover faster from workouts. One of the best ways to ensure you eat healthy is to always strive to eat whole foods in their nature state. Try to avoid boxed or canned vegetables and instead aim for fresh veggies. Instead of drinking pre-made juice it would be better to squeeze your juice right before consumption. This takes about 5 minutes with a decent juice extractor.
2. The focus of your workouts shouldn’t be on abs. Too many times I see people do 40 minutes of crunch/situp variations. This is just insane, stupid and above all else ineffective and possibly even dangerous. Inside the world famous book The Truth About Abs their are a bunch of full body multi joint exercises and workouts that are most effective for not only burning body fat but also for revealing sexy abs.
3. Take action today! How many times have you said "I will start a new diet after the weekend" or "After the holidays are over I will start working out again." In my opinion that is a subconscious excuse. If you really want to get rid of your stubborn body fat and uncover that sexy stomach then you must take action today.
