Good Hope Road (Tending Roses Series, Book 1) Review

This is the second in the "Tending Roses" series. This book diverges from the characters in Tending Roses (the first book in the series). This has new and wonderful characters who reappear and join the original "cast" in later books in the series. Each book in this series is better than the last. Highly recommend it. They are predictable and sentimental but good reading and heartwarming.

Good Hope Road (Tending Roses Series, Book 1) Overview

Jenilee Lane has never been much of a Good Samaritan. But when a tornado sweeps through her home town, she puts her all into rummaging for people's mementos. She even rescues and befriends elderly Eudora Gibson. Brought close by tragedy, the two will learn lessons about the resilience of the human spirit and the ties that make a community strong.

excellent book - BobbieJ Stiles - Niceville, FL USA
I highly recommend this book and all of the book in the series. I recently lost my mother so reading book one required a lot of kleenex. The grandmother was so like my mother.

Lisa Wingate is a marvelous writer. I have my copies of the Tending Roses series marked with quotes to remember. I don't often find a writer of this quality.

Excellent Read - weser - Houston, TX USA
Lisa Wingate has given us another remarkably exciting book. I can hardly put any of her books down once I start. This book along with all of her books I have read make us look at life more closely, and see what it really important. They have been very helpful to me in prioritizing what really counts at the end of the day or at the end of life. You will enjoy.
